- Charles Herbert Kraft, 71, passed away March 25 at his home, 1236 Greenwood Avenue, Wilmette, after a long illness. He was born on October 17, in Ontario, Canada. Charles H. Kraft was fifth in the family of 11 children, eight boys and three girls. He is survived by his widow, Martha Watson Kraft; three sons, Charles W. of Piedmont, Calif., Leonard of Oswego, Ore., and G. Howard of Wilmette; two daughters, Mrs. Aldo E. Nessler and Mrs. Arthur Eilers, both of Evanston; and 15 grandchildren.
