Funeral services for Egidius Meyer, 74, of 1721 Washington avenue, Wilmette, who died Thursday, March 21, at his home after a lingering illness, were held Monday morning from the residence to St. Joseph’s church. Mr. Meyer had been a resident of Wilmette for 43 years, and would have celebrated his forty-ninth wedding anniversary in May. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Gertrude Meyer, two daughter, Sister Johanita and Barbara Reding, and two sons, Thomas and Bernard. Burial took place at St. Mary’s cemetery in Techny.
