Notes: George J. Bauer died June 16 in the Foster Pavilion of the Presbyterian Homes in Evanston. He was 83.

Mr. Bauer was born April 3, 1921, in St. Louis.

Mr. Bauer's wife, was Janet (nee Ream), whom he married in 1955. In addition to his wife, survivors include one niece and one nephew. He also was a great uncle of four.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert G.

Funeral services and interment were private.
