Funeral services for Al Blum, Wilmette painter and decorator, were held at the residence of his brother, Ed Blum, on Glenview road last Friday, Feb. 1. Mr. Blum, who had been a resident of Wilmette for more than fifty years, died on Tuesday, January 29. His death was said to have been caused by an infection resulting from a fall on a slippery Ridge avenue sidewalk three weeks ago. Two brothers, Ed, of Wilmette, and John, of Jackson, Mich., and one sister, Mrs. Mary Rink, of Chicago, survive him. Burial took place at Memorial Park cemetery.
