- Philip L. Edwards, 54, of Pittsburgh, Pa., died suddenly March 17 in Pittsburgh. Mr. Edwards and his wife lived in Wilmette from 1933 to 1948, making their home at 1720 Elmwood Avenue. He is survived by his widow, Ruth Carroll, of 710 Harden Drive in North Hill Estates, Pittsburgh; his mother, Minnie L.; and a brother, Rusell T.
