Mrs. Leona Kropp dies; daughter of A. C. Pearsons

Mrs. Leona Kropp of Wilmette, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August C. Pearson of Winnetka, died Tuesday, October 8, at St. Francis hospital after a brief illness. Mrs. Kropp was 27 years of age and the mother of five small children. She is survived by her husband, Elmer Kropp, of Wilmette; five children, Walter, 5; Lorraine, 4; Elmer Jr., 3; Richard 2, and Lenore, eight months old; her parents; one sister, Mrs. LaVerne Schneider of Winnetka and three brothers, August C. Pearson Jr., of Wilmette, and Donald and James Pearson of Winnetka. Funeral services were held Friday morning at 9 o’clock from the August C. Pearson Jr., residence, 1815 Walnut avenue, Wilmette, to the Sacred Heart church in Hubbard Woods. Burial was at Sacred Heart cemetery.
