Description
Full Text

Bobby Barker, thirteen year old son of Mrs. and Mrs. Milton E. Barker of Los Angeles, for many years residents of Wilmette, passed away on Thursday of last week in a Los Angeles hospital, following an operation.

Bobby had been in ill health since infancy and had undergone numerous corrective operations. For the past year, however, he had been gaining rapidly in strength and health and it was the hope of attending physicians that the operation which immediately preceded his death would constitute the last necessary to place him well on the road to health.
Mr. and Mrs. Barker, who are well known throughout the north shore area, had ceaselessly striven to gain for their son the health that had been denied him and it was to a large extent this idea that caused them to move to California several years ago.
