Caroline Norris dies at hospital after illness

Miss Caroline Norris, a resident of Wilmette for twenty-five years, died Sunday afternoon at the Evanston hospital after a brief illness. Miss Norris was the daughter of the late Mrs. Jane S. Norris. She was a member of the Wilmette Congregational church, the Wilmette Woman's club, and the Wilmette chapter O. E. S. Surviving her are two sisters Winifred Norris and Mrs. T. F. Cook, and a brother, William D. Norris all of Wilmette. The Rev. William E. McCormack, of the First Congregational church, officiated at the funeral services which were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the William D. Norris home, 1314 Forest avenue, where Miss Norris had lived. Burial took place at the North Shore cemetery.
