Conrad Schmeisser dies; Wilmette church leader

Conrad Schmeisser, 58, of 2311 Lawndale avenue, Evanston, for twenty-five years a member of the council of St. John's Lutheran church, Wilmette, died Thursday, May 23, after an illness of several months. Mr. Schmeisser is survived by his widow, Mrs. Anna Schmeisser, and three children, Esther, Wilbur, and Annette. The funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, May 25, at 2:30 o'clock in St. John's Lutheran church. Burial took place at Memorial Park cemetary [sic].
