Mrs. Paulina Kuelzow, mother of August J. Kuelzow of Wilmette, died at her home, 339 South Harvey avenue, Oak Park, Thursday, November 7. Mrs. Kuelzow was born in Baden, Germany, in 1851, came to Chicago in 1855 and has lived there and in suburbs since that time. She was the daughter of Baldosar Hallbauer, a prominent physician in the early days of Chicago.
Besides the son in Wilmette, Mrs. Kuelzow is survived by two other sons, John P. Kuelzow of Maywood, and Archibald V. Kuelzow of Oak Park; two daughters, Minnie and Frances Kuelzow of Oak Park, and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from Mrs. Kuelzow's late residence in Oak Park, with the Rev. James T. Veneklasen, of the Second Presbyterian church of Oak Park officiating. Burial was at Forest Home cemetery.- Featured Link
