- New Trier won the Midwest Interscholastic Sailing Association's regional championship last weekend. The New Trier A division team was skippered by Valen Smith and Rob Pickens was the crew, both of Wilmette. In the B division Matt Clark of Winnetka skippered; Nick Larmore of WIlmette and Nicole Hudson of Winnetka crewed. Others on the team include Ned Turney of Winnetka, Make and Eric Schmitt of Wilmette, Doug Baker of Winnetka and Patrick Richards, Maggie and Annie Shea of Wilmette. The coach is John Vandemoer.
