- Edith (nee Zik) Tessler, 81, a resident of Winnetka, died April 2 at Hospice of the Northshore in Evanston.
Mrs. Tessler was born Sept. 22, 1922 in Chicago.
Survivors include her daughter, Mitzie (Stephen) Maras of Wilmette; two grandchildren, Zachary Maras and Jenna Richeson; and a brother, Syril Alvin Brailou
Services were held on Monday, April 5 at Weinstein Family Services in Wilmette.
Interment was at Westlawn Cemetery in Chicago.
