Mrs. Mary McConnaughey, wife of H. D. McConnaughey, 1506 Lake avenue, Wilmette, passed away following a lingering illness on Thursday, November 17, at the age of 42 years. Services were conducted from St. Augustine's Episcopal church last Saturday, Dr. Hubert Carleton, officiating. Burial was at Memorial Park cemetery.
Mrs. McConnaughey had resided in Wilmette for a period of six years. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and of the Episcopal church. She is survived by her husband and two children.- Featured Link
