- Two New Trier players, Deirdre Naughton and Maddie Johnson were selected for the all-tournament team by members of the media covering the Class AA girls state finals. Loyola Academy sophomore Brittany McCoy earned a third team spot and Regina Dominican's Lauren Schober was chosen for the fourth team. None of the four area players entered in the Class AA portion of the Three-Point Showdown advanced to the finals. Predictions about next year's New Trier team with returning starters Deirdre Naughton, Amy Jaeschke and Katherine Dykstra, top reserve guard Jenny Samuelson, and sophomore Ann Hickey. Other backup players who may have an impact next year are Kendra Kutko, Sarah Harrison, Kayanne Gummersall, Leslie Gardner and Krista Akason.
