- Donald Boyle Ambrose, 76, a resident of Wilmette, died Feb. 26 in his home.
Mr. Ambrose was born June 12, 1927 in Flushing, N.Y.
Survivors include his wife Angela Ambrose (nee McNulty) of Wilmette; three daughters, Peggy (Frank) Cunniff, Katie (Scott) Stuart, Mary Ambrose; two sons, Peter (Kathy) Ambrose and Mark (Jean) Ambrose; 13 grandchildren, Laura and Carrie Cunniff, Courtney, Angela (Kevin) Reilly, Meghan and Emily Dempsey, Jeffrey, Matthew, Ryan, Mark and Luke Ambrose and Sam and J.P. Stuart; one great-grandson, Connor Reilly; and a sister, Ellyn F. Ambrose.
He is predeceased by a daughter, Susie (Ron) Dempsey.
