Mrs. Helen Dawes Smith of 706 Elmwood avenue, mother of Royal Dawes Smith and of the late George Bernard Smith, passed away Monday morning at the Evanston hospital at the age of 80 years. Requiem mass was held at the Cathedral Shelter, 117 N. Peoria street, Chicago, on Wednesday, and burial was at Rosehill. Mrs. Smith was the grandmother of Robert D., Stanley W., Roland B., Harvey D., and Florence Smith, and Mrs. Helen Taguey.
