Hold funeral services for aged resident here

Mrs. Addie Hughes, 78 years old, widow of the late George C. Hughes, 1006 Central avenue, died at her home last Saturday, April 17. Funeral services were held Monday of this week from the First Congregational church, of which she was a member. Dr. Stephen A. Lloyd officiating, and burial was at Rosehill cemetery. Mrs. Hughes had been ill for a long time. She is survived by her daughter, Miss Minnie Hughes, and by two of Mr. Hughes' sisters, Miss Mary E. and Miss Katherine Hughes, of Glens Falls, New York, both of whom attended the funeral services. Mrs. Hughes had been a resident of the village since 1889 and was well known to many Wilmette people.
