- Kathryn O. Dietrich, a longtime resident of Evanston, died Jan. 16 at her home. She was 86. Ms. Dietrich, also known as "Kay" was born Oct. 12, 1917, in Lake City, Minn. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, William E. Dietrich. Survivors include son William E. Dietrich Jr. (Wendy) of Austin, Texas; daughters Louise D. (William) Robb of Barrington Hills and Anne D. Horne of Evanston; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
