- A private school that helps bright students cope with learning disabilities will open in Northfield this fall. Hyde Park Day School director Pamela Adelman said the school will open its new academy in a building formerly run by St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 1980 Old Willow Road. The target students are ages 6-15 of average to superior intelligence but who struggle in school because of language-based learning disabilities. Comments by parent Gerry Silverstein of Glencoe whose son is a current student.
