A long life, filled with unselfish devotion to family and church, ended with the death of Ira S. Fisher at his home 638 Ash street, Winnetka, September 25.
Mr. Fisher was born May 14, 1845 at Ben Millar, Ontario, Canada. He was married in 1870 to Mary A. Large and on December 6, 1920, they celebrated their golden wedding anniversary.
He is survived by three children, Richard F., of Winnipeg, Canada, Laura E. and Edwin G. of this village.
Services were held at the home Saturday, September 26. Dr. Gilbert Stansell of the Wilmette Parish Methodist church, assisted by the Rev. James A. Richards of the Winnetka Congregational church, officiating. Burial was at Memorial Park.- Featured Link
