Mathias Selzer, 77 years old, one of the oldest settlers in the vicinity of Wilmette and who spent most of his life here, died of pneumonia November 8, after a short illness while visiting his son in New York. The remains were sent to Wilmette and the funeral services held at St. Joseph's church, November 12.
Mr. Selzer is survived by his widow, Magdalena Selzer, and six children, Sister Blanche, Mrs. Margaret Spreitzer, Mrs. M. J. Keil, and John W., William and Louis J. Selzer.- Featured Link
