Funeral services for Mrs. Vera Chilcott, wife of Dr. Israel H. Chilcott of 2[?]4 Sheridan road, Kenilworth, who passed away Wednesday morning of last week, were held Friday afternoon from the residence and burial was at Graceland.
Mrs. Chilcott succumbed to illness following the birth of a son about two weeks ago.
Mrs. Chilcott, who was 36 years of age, was born in Rogers Park where she was prominent in church, club, and social service work. In recent years she was active in Kenilworth social affairs.
Besides her husband, who is chief of staff of St. Francis hospital. Mrs. Chilcott is survived by a daughter Jane, her infant son, her mother, Mrs. Amelia Apfela, and a sister, Mrs. Amelia Angrove of Wilmette.- Featured Link
