- Mitchell Hill of Wilmette, 72, died Jan. 18 at ManorCare Health Services in Wilmette. Born Oct. 18, 1931, in Columbus, Georgia.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine (nee Duling), whom he married in 1966; daughters Michelle, Charlene and Tina; sons Clarence and Edward; brother Tommy; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives.
Funeral services were held Jan. 23 at Mount Zion Church in Evanston, with interment in Sunset Memorial Lawns, Northbrook.
