- The League of Women Voters sponsored a forum on Saturday featuring a panel of experts to discuss the issues involved in the "teardown" of older houses and their replacement with new and much larger ones. The panel included Jean Follet, a historian from Hinsdale; Michele Wallwork, an accountant with The Harness Group, an Evanston based business owned by developer Doug Harness of Winnetka; John Mengel of Glencoe; and Ellen Shubart, a Glencoe trustee.
