- Shirley Welsh Ryan of Winnetka will receive the Sacred Heart Goal Award from Chicago's Sacred Heart Schools for her dedication to social action. Ryan's efforts have concentrated on children with movement and physical challenges. She and her husband, Patrick, co-founded Pathways Center for Children, an outpatient therapy center and training center for physical therapists.
