- Students who attended Festival of Faith Youth Day at Navy Pier were supervised by instructors Jerry W. Maurer, Sandy L. Nowarita and Susan Spillane, campus ministers; Stephanie Taylor, Sarah B. Kennedy and Michael V. Hugo; parents, Delia O'Connor and Brenda Dunn and Registrar, Rev. Paul Faulstich and his assistant, Pat Muldoon; Alumnus Kevin Marinacci, class 1985, addressed students about the Fabretto Foundation which oversees orphanages in Nicaragua. Students in homerooms of Rebecca Farrell, John Rank, Natalie Schiavone, Joseph Jekot and William Brandstrader mentioned for their contributions to such Mission funds. Student leaders Nicholas Maginot and Cristina Cacciatore attended a formal dinner at the Chicago Historical Society; Yearbook won prize. Staff included Min Ko, Rebecca Burright, Erika Neumayer, Brittany Souder with the assistance of teachers Nora Barry Cunningham, Jennifer Rowe Perrault and Pat Vasis; Forensics activities; Literary magazine, "Menagerie Arts," won prize. Advisers include Joan Rubert; Physical Education students of the month include James Luxem of Winnetka; Founder's Club Mass and Brunch December 7. Students Mary Dwyer of Wilmette and Elizabeth Herzberg of Winnetka provided music; Scholastic Bowl events; Students in German language classes dined at Lutz Continental Cafe; Students traveled to Columbus, Georgia to take part in the School of the Americas Protest and Prayer Vigil from Nov. 20-23
