- John Michael Collins Jr., 54, of Kenilworth, died July 5, 2001 in Park Ridge. Born in Melrose Park. Survivors include his wife, Jean Corvine, of Kenilworth; his mother, Helen of Gainsville; four children, Monica, Julia, John and Mary of Kenilworth; five brothers, Terry (Eleana) of the Isle of Man, Richard (Ruby) of Richmond, California, Robert (Janet) of Cypress, Tex., David (Catherine) of Houston, Tex., and Theodore (Susan) of Chanhassen, Minn.; and five sisters, Helen (Patrick) O'Rourke of Normal, Suzanne Arendt of Dowagiac, Mich., Yvonne (Gary) Shenfield of Corralitos, California, Joanne (David) Wizhersham of Nehoosa, Wisconsin, and Patricia (Jeffry) Potempa of Utah.
