- Philip L. Hillinger,86, a 65-year resident of Wilmette, died Dec 1 [1980] at the Rolling Hills Manor Nursing Home in Zion. He was born in Chicago. Survivors include two daughters, Lorraine Kelly of Wilmette and Dolores Thalmann of Adell, Wis. [Wisconsin]; three sons, Leonard Hillinger of Glenview, Robert Hillinger of Morton Grove and Philip Hillinger of Northbrook; a sister, Beatrice Williamson of Sierra Madre, Cal. [California]; eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Mr. Hillinger was also the brother of the late Bishop Raymond P. Hillinger, former auxiliary bishop of Chicago. Mass will be said at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 1740 Lake St., Wilmette. Burial will be at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
