- Wilmette natives Dr. Eugene Hildebrand, 67, and Margel Hildebrand, 66, died August 1 [1980] at their home in Tucson, Arizona. They were married in 1937. They are survived by a son, David R. of Denver; two daughters, Carol Carelis of Tucson and Joan Durand of Springfield, Massachusetts, and six grandchildren. They were buried in Graceland Cemetery in Chicago.
