- Gertrude E. Eckersberg, 79, of 1501 Walnut Ave. in Wilmette died August 3 at Evanston Hospital. She was born in Berlin, Germany. She was the widow of the late Alfred A. She is survived by three sons, Alfred K. of Wilmette, Robert A. of Homewood, Illinois, and Bruce A. of East Dundee, Illinois; five grandchldren, and a brother, William Istel of Park Forest, Illinois.
