- Matilda E. Schotz Braun, 86, died July 14 in Evanston, a month after her husband, Paul C. Braun, died on July 10. Born in Merrill, Wis. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by Bernard (Patricia) Braun. Survivers include a son Ronald Braun; two daughters, Judith (Stewart) Strand, Rita Walker; six grandchildren, Judith, Lisa, Nancy, Robert, Theresa and Dennis; nine great-grandchildren and two brothers, August and Eugene Schotz of Merrill. Interment at All Saints Cemetery.
