- Gertrude M. Braun, 84, died January 24 in Holy Family Hospital in Des Plaines. Mrs. Braun was the wife of Clarence Braun, and a Wilmette native. She is survived by two daughters; Donna Stolberg and Diane How of Arlington Heights; and a son, Philip Braun of Rochester Hills, Michigan, eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Teresa Bleser of Evanston, and a son, Richard Bleser of Morton Grove. Burial was in All-Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
