- Mary E. Davis, a longtime resident of Wilmette, died in Sun City, Ariz., on Feb. 12 [1996]. She was 88. Mrs. Davis was born in Mexico, Missouri. Her husband was the late Lyndon Davis. Mrs. Davis is survived by her sisters, Lucy Borland, Louise Breadel and Talitha Shaaw. A brother, Colonel Russell Powell, also survived. Interment was at Memorial Park Cemetery, Skokie.
