- A memorial service will be held in California Feb. 26 for former Wilmette resident Charlles Watson Kraft, 88. Mr. Kraft died Jan. 28 in Palo Alto, Calif. He was born in Buffalo, N.Y. He was preceded in death by a son, Charles Stuart Kraft. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Anne Fulker Kraft; sons James Fulker Kraft, Jr. and Leonard Watson Kraft and a daughter Mary Kraft Peltzer, all of the Bay area; two other sons, Herbert Lewis Kraft of Chicago and Howard George of Wilmette; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Hazel Kraft Eilers of Winnetka and Minerva Kraft Nessler of Indiana.
