Marion B. Clary died Nov. 23 [1987] at her home. Mrs. Clary was born May 3, 1896 in Sioux City, Iowa. She was the daughter of Margaret O'Shaughnessy and Thomas Burns. She was married August 9, 1926 to Virgil Clary of New Hampton, Iowa. The family moved to Wilmette in 1941. In 1943, Mrs. Clary founded the "North Shore Builders" of Winnetka, Clary & Co. Over the next 42 years, her company remodeled and custom-built hundreds of North Shore homes, office buildings and churches. These included the Presbyterian Church of Winnetka, St. Augustine's Parish House in Wilmette and St. Mark's Rectory and Parish House in Evanston. Mrs. Clary is survived by two sons, Virgil V. Clary and P. Kevin Clary, both of Winnetka; and seven grandchildren, Rosalie Marion Clary Hawley of Brookline, Mass., and Frederick Stanton Clary, Virgil Vincent Clary Jr., Kathleen Elizabeth Clary, Deirdre Anne Clary, Sheila Anne Clary and Sharon Anne Clary, all of Winnetka. Interment was in All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
