- Brian Battle, 46, died at his home in Wilmette on March 20. He is survived by his wife, Janis; and three children, Heather, Jimmy, and Cindy; his parents, Frank and Dorothy Battle of Des Plaines; and his brothers and sister, Frank of Lake Forest, Kevin of Deerfield, and Patricia Burt of Gurnee. Also surviving are his parents-in-law, Jim and Dorothy Rehm of Lake Forest; and brother and sister-in-law, Jim Rehm of Skokie, and Judy Witmer of Atlanta, Ga. There was a memorial service on March 22 at the Lutheran Church of the Ascension, Northfield.
