- Dr. Carl B. Davis Jr., 89, of Golf, died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2001 in Skokie. Born August 29, 1912 in Chicago. Survivors include his former wife, Marianne Hoover Davis; three sons, Carl B. III (Walheah), James D. (Susan) and William B. (Anne); daugher-in-law, Leslie K. Davis; eight grandchildren, Blake, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Laura, Robert Jr., James Jr., Emery and Melissa; and one brother, John B. Preceded in death by his son, Dr. Robert P., and a sister, Dorothy D. McKinnon.
