- Frances (née Hauxhurst) Fox, 78, of Winnetka, died July 21, 2000 in Evanston Hospital. Born April 20, 1922 in Harrow, England. Survivors include a son, Geoff (Dot) of Winnetka; a daughter, Carolyn Johnson of Tucson, Ariz; five grandchildren, Phillip, Jonathan and Emily Fox and Caitlin and Casey Johnson; a brother, Stanley Hauxhurst of Corona del Mar, California; and four sister-in-laws, Chappie and Sophie Fox of Baraboo, Wisconsin; Elise Swansen of Milwaukee, and Gay Fox of Black Mountain, N.C. Preceded in death by her husband, Roderick Fox and her son, Michael.
