- Robert Koons Ellis, 68, of 601 Windsor Rd. in Glenview died Oct. 6 upon arrival at Skokie Valley Community Hospital. Born in Chicago. He is survived by his wife, Helen; three sons, Robert Jr. of Glenview, Kenneth R. of Oakland, Cal. and John W. of Dayton, Ohio; a daughter, Peggy Warkentin of Maple Grove, Minn.; six grandchildren, a brother, William H. of Glenview; and four sisters, Helen Van Schaack of Wauwatosa, Wis., Kate Ludlow of Glenview, Frances Haswell of Evanston and Elizabeth Burrill of Highland Park.
