My mother was very best friends with Lucy-Avis Crowe as children in Dennison,Texas. I was named after Lucy-Avis. If any of the family remembers my mom's name, Thelma (Tedi) Davis, and might know anything about their relationship, I would love to talk to them. Too bad there were no tools like the Internet available at that time. My mom always felt a loss that they didn't keep in touch.
