- Dr. D.V.L. Brown, 66, formerly of Winnetka, died Oct. 1 in Tequesta, Fla. He is survived by his wife, Jane; sons Dr. Steven V.L. Brown and Scott McBride Brown; daughter Lynn Brown Taylor; stepdaughter Pamela Blair; sister Nancy Brown Jones; brother Donald A.K. Brown; and five grandchildren.
