- John H. Goessele Jr. of 1500 Sheridan Rd. in Wilmette, died Friday [28 February 1980] at his home. Born in Chicago, Mr. Goessele had lived in Wilmette for 1 1/2 years. He is survived by his wife, Grace H.; and two nieces, Mr.[sic] John Cummings of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and Mrs. Lloyd Cutler of Chevy Chase, Maryland. Services were conducted Monday at the Hebblethwaite Chapel in Evanston by the Rev. David Donovan of the 4th Presbyterian Church of Chicago. Entombment was in Rosehill Mausoleum in Chicago.
