- The New Trier basketball team has many young and inexperienced players this year. Junior guard, Phil Lubin is recovering from injuries as is Graham Caywood, Tad Stacey and Akeem Seymens. Another potential player, Simon Chen-Byerley, decided to concentrate on volleyball. Dusty Napoleon is the only starter returning to the team. Other players mentioned include Mike Schmidt and Jim Heinz, Eric Rosen, Ben Kaplan, Chris Bassler and Chase Shamlin.
