- Marie M. Herb, 73, died March 10 at Evanston Hospital. She was born in Detroit. She is survived by two step-daughters, Bettye Sollitt of Chicago and Eleanor Herbert of Winnetka; two brothers, Robert W. and Charles R. Martin, both of Wheaton, and four grandchildren. The funeral took place March 13 at the Church of the Holy Comforter, Kenilworth. Burial was at Memorial Park Cemetery, Skokie.
