- Barbara L. Schacht (nee Logan), 76, a longtime resident of Glenview, died Nov.10 in Holy Family Medical Center in Des Plaines. Mrs. Schacht was born Sept. 10, 1927 in Chicago.
Survivors include two sons, Mark S. (Cyndi) of Albany, Calif. and James M. (Nancy) of Rochelle, Ill.; three daughters, Meg E. (John) McKerr of Northfield, Mary A. of Glenview and Julie A. Marsh of Northbrook; 11 grandchildren, Brian (Alea) Schacht, Raina (Josh) Bray, Sara, Laura, Daniel, Rosa, Kyla and Joshua Schacht, Johnny and Michael McKerr and Nicole Williams; and two great-grandchildren, Ashley Hess and Kayleen Schacht.
Mrs. Schacht was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur; and a sister, Mary Lou Kollenberg. Visitation was held Nov. 12 at Oehler Funeral Home in Des Plaines. A funeral Mass was celebrated last Thursday, Nov. 13, at the Marian Chapel at Maryville Academy in Des Plaines. Interment was in All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
