Nancy Ann Gordon, 51, a resident of Wilmette, died Nov. 13 at Palliative Care Center and Hospice of North Shore in Skokie.

Mrs. Gordon was born June 18, 1952 in Chicago. The family moved to Wilmette in 1957 and she attended St. Joseph grammar school and graduated from Regina Dominican High School in 1970. She attended Marymount University in Arlington Va. and later received a bachelor of arts from Loyola University of Chicago. Her first job was with Merrill Lynch in Evanston where she returned after working at the executive search firm of Heidrick and Struggles in Chicago.

She married Michael E. Gordon in 1978 and settled again in Wilmette where she lived until suddenly succumbing to leukemia.

Mrs. Gordon was a past publicity chairperson for Misericordia and an organizer for Breast Cancer Awareness. She was a past member of the Young Woman's Auxiliary of the Woman's Club of Evanston and participated in the benefit show there. As a member of Evanston Golf Club and Centennial Tennis, she was an avid tennis and paddle tennis player and frequented the tennis courts in Naples, Fla. where she maintained a second home. She could also be seen regularly at the Wilmette Fitness Center where she was a member for the last seven years.

Mrs. Gordon was a member of Sts. Faith, Hope and Charity parish in Winnetka, where her four children attended grammar school and where her youngest child (Thomas) is now an eighth-grader.

Survivors include her husband, Michael E. Gordon; two daughters, Margaret Mary Gordon and Grace Gordon; two sons, William Gordon and Thomas Gordon; her parents, Victor and Margaret Lattan; three sisters, Norma (Bart) Muldowney of Edina, Minn., Lorraine (James) Orbon of Northfield, and Alyce (Richard) Caspers of Glenview; one brother, Paul (Lisa) Lattan of Kansas City, Mo.; and 33 nieces and nephews.

Memorial service was held on Saturday, Nov. 15 at Sts. Faith, Hope and Charity Church in Winnetka.

Interment was at Memorial Park Cemetery in Skokie.
