- C. Herbert Jones died on Monday at the Georgian in Evanston. He was 97. Mr. Jones was born October 18, 1889 in Philadelphia, PA. He married Fern Storm in 1917. Mr. Jones is survived by his five children; C. Howard Jones of Murraysville. PA; Ellen Tharp of Ellicott City, MD.; Lillian Lee of Lanham, MD.; Lawrence W. Jones of Ann Arbor, MI.; and Bertha Peterson of Oak Park, IL; 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
