- Joseph C. Huerter of Evanston, died Aug. 27 at his home. He was 66. Mr. Huerter was a descendant of a pioneer family. Survivors include his wife Marion Wallowitz Huerter; two daughters, Sharon Huerter of Glenview, and Debbie (Robert) Scaramuzzi of Des Plaines; one sister, Virginia Costello of Oak Park; and two young grandchildren, Jenna and Timothy Scaramuzzi. He was preceded in death by his parents, the late John and Helen Huerter. Interment was at St. Mary Cemetery, Techny.
