- Katherine (née Doherty) Lecat, 69, of Wilmette died September 29, 1999 after being struck by a school van. Born in Minneapolis. Preceded in death by her husband, Walter R., who died in 1996. Survivors include three daughters, Amy (Dan) O'Donoghue of Winnetka, Simone (Chris) Gould of Winnetka, and Lisa (Vito) Knych of Arlington Heights; one son, Paul (Bonnie) Lecat of Chicago; and six grandchildren listed; two sisters, Margaret (Dan) Bray and Mary (Don) Uhrbrock; and one brother, Tim Doherty
