- A memorial Mass will be said August 9 for Wilmette native Veronica A. Kreusch at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wilmette. Her nephew, the Rev. Jerome Hartmann of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Wilmette, will be the celebrant. Mrs. Kreusch died July 25 in San Francisco. She was born in 1896 in Wilmette. She is survived by two daughters, Vera Greenlee of Daggett, California, and Lorraine Williams of San Francisco; six grandchildren; a niece, Mary Barsanti of Wilmette, and a nephew, Fr. Hartmann.
